Hazardous and special waste includes materials that contain chemicals or components requiring extra precautions. They’re handled through specialized processes to ensure safe and responsible disposal.

Here is a list of a few common items that are considers special or hazardous waste, containing flammable or toxic chemicals:

  • Refrigerator (full size or mini): $25.00

  • AC: $15.00

  • Dehumidifier: $15.00

  • Batteries: $0.08/lb

  • Propane Tank: $5.00

  • Oil Tank (with large hole in bottom): Free

  • Small Bulb: $0.50

  • 2’ or U-Shape Bulb: $1.00

  • 4’ Fluorescent Bulb: $2.00

  • 8’ Fluorescent Bulb: $4.00
